We will break the riding down into two sections. After a safety briefing, we will get familiar with our bikes and the terrain by covering roughly 12km on flatter side of the park, winding through the eucalyptus trees in the Kurrajong Plantation. While being the flatter side of the park, the trails are scattered with obstacles such as rocks, roots, logs, platforms and series of optional jumps to keep things exciting!
After this first morning session we will have a quick rest while keeping our energy levels up by chowing down on a CLIF bar. We’ll rack the bikes up and drive you to the top of the more adventurous, downhill side of the park known as the Stockyards. Here we’ll guide you down some sweet purpose built descending trails full of corners, a few obstacles and endless amounts of fun that will leave you grinning from ear to ear!
All up, the tour covers at least 20km of purpose built mountain bike trails and for those who still have the legs towards the end of the day, there’s some bonus km’s to be had but we’ll explain that on the day! Once we’re all ridden out, we’ll tuck into lunch surrounded by the beautiful Aussie bush before returning to the city early afternoon.
